King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1 (with thanks to cosmicsoul07)

F, Bb, F, C, Bb x2

F
  When you were young
             C Bb F
You were the king of carrot flowers
                          C Bb C
And how you built a tower tumbling through the trees
                          Bb F
In holy rattlesnakes that fell all around your feet

 F Bb F C Bb

F C Bb F
And your mom would stick a fork right into daddy's shoulder
                                     C Bb C
And dad would throw the garbage all across the floor
                               Bb F
As we would lay and learn what each other's bodies were for

F, Bb, F, C, Bb

F
  And this is the room
         C Bb F
One afternoon I knew I could love you
                         C Bb C
And from above you how I sank into your soul
                             Bb F
Into that secret place where no one dares to go

F, Bb, F, C, Bb

F C Bb F
And your mom would drink until she was no longer speaking
                               C Bb C
And dad would dream of all the different ways to die
                            Bb F
Each one a little more than he could dare to try

I love you Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ I love you
       C
Yes I do

 F
I love you Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ I love you

And on the lazy days
The dogs dissolve and drain away
The world it goes
And all awaits F
The day we are awaiting

  F Bb F C x4

 F
Up and over we go through the wave and undertow
                                  C
I will float until I learn how to swim inside my mother
             F C F Bb F C x2
in a garbage bin until I find myself again again

 F
up and over we go mouths open wide and spitting still
                                     C
and I will spit until I learn how to speak up thru the
                          F
doorway as the sideboards creek with them ever
            C F Bb F C x2
proclaiming me me ohhhhhhhhhhhh

 F
up and over we go the weight it sits on down and I don't know
                                      C
I will shout until they know what I mean I mean the
                       F
marriage of a dead dog sing and a synthetic flying
 C F

G Em
What a beautiful face
                       C
i have found in this place
                  D
that is circling all around the sun.
G Em
What a beautiful dream
                          C
that could flash on the screen
                  D G
in a blink of an eye and be gone from me
      Em
soft and sweet
         C D G Em C D
let me hold it close and keep it here with me

 G Em
and one day we will die
                    C D
and our ashes will fly from the aeroplane over the sea
 G Em
but for now we are young
                  C
let us lay in the sun
                D G
and count every beautiful thing we can see
      Em
Love to be
        C D G Em C D
in the arms of all i'm keepin here with me

 G Em C
what a curious life we have found here tonight
                     D
there is music that sounds from the street
 G Em
there are lights in the cloud
                 C
Anne's ghost all around
                        D G
hear her voice as it's rolling and ringing through me
     Em
soft and sweet
        C D G Em C D
How the notes all bend and reach above the trees

Em C
now how i remember you
                                  G
how i would push my fingers through
                                    D
your mouth to make those muscles move
                                       Em
that make your voice so smooth and sweet
                                  C
And now we keep where we don't know
                                  G
All secrets sleep in winter clothes
                             D
with one you loved so long ago
                               Em C G D
now he don't even know his name

 G Em
What a beautiful face
                      C
i have found in this place
                  D
that is circling all round the sun
 G Em
and when we meet on a cloud
                      C
I'll be laughing out loud
                       D G
I'll be laughing with everyone i see
     Em
Can't believe
     C D G Em C D G <-end on
how strange it is to be anything at all

Two Headed Boy

G B
Two headed boy
    G B
All floating in glass
    G B
The sun it has passed
         C G
Now it's blacker than black
      C D
I can hear as you tap on your jar
     C G
I am listening to hear where you are
     C G
I am listening to hear where you are

G B
Two headed boy
G B
Put on sunday shoes
    G B C G
And dance round the room to accordion keys
         C D
With the needle that sings in your heart
         C G
Catching signals that sound in the dark
         C G
Catching signals that sound in the dark
        D C
We will take off our clothes
                       G D C
And they'll be placing fingers through the notches in your spine
                           G D C
And when all is breaking , everything that you could keep inside
                            Am D
now you're eyes aint moving now, they just lay there in their cloud

G B
Two headed boy
     G B
With pulleys and weights
   G B C G
Creating a radio played just for two
       C D
In the parlor with a moon across her face
    C G
And through the music he sweetly displays
       C G
Silver speakers that sparkle all day
C C Am D C
Made for his lover who's floating and choking with her hands across her face
           G D C
And in the dark we will take off our clothes
                        G D C
And they'll be placing fingers through the notches in your spine
                          G D C
And when all is breaking, everything that you could keep inside
                            Am D
now you're eyes ain't moving now, they just lay there in their clouououououd

G B
Two headed boy
          G B
There's no reason to grieve
    G B C G
The world that you need is wrapped in gold silver sleeves
     C D
Left beneath Christmas trees in the snow
           C G
And I will take you and leave you alone
         C G
Watching spirals of white softly flow
          C
Over your eyelids and all you did
                                       D
Will wait until the point when you let go
C G

The Fool-- im not so sure on this one but if playin through the whole album you
can interlude with these chords-- i think theyre right

i think its something like:
altering between-- Am Em Am Em x2 then G followed by a quick F
before going back to Am Em Am Em (multiple times)
then when it gets higher, im not sure, but i think it then just alternates
between C E C E (also multiple times)
then it goes right back into Am Em Am Em

yeah so i use these chords when im playing along with the song on the album and it
works out pretty good but if you have any suggestions please share

       C G x2

C G
The only girl I've ever loved
C G
Was born with roses in her eyes
C G
But then they buried her alive
            D C
One evening nineteen-forty-five
              D G
With just her sister at her side
         D C
And only weeks before the guns
             D G
All came and rained on everyone
            D C
Now she's a little boy in Spain
        D G
Playing pianos filled with flames
         D C
On empty rings around the sun
            D G
All sing to say my dream has come

                C G
But now we must pick up every piece
       C G
Of the life we used to love
        C
Just to keep ourselves
    G D
At least enough to carry on

 C G
And now we ride the circus wheel
C G
With your dark brother wrapped in white
C G
Says it was good to be alive
           D C
But now he rides a comet's flame
             D G
And won't be coming back again
                D C
The Earth looks better from a star
              D G
That's right above from where you are
          D C
He didn't mean to make you cry
                 D G
With sparks that ring and bullets fly
         D C
On empty rings around your heart
               D G
The world just screams and falls apart

                 C G
But now we must pick up every piece
       C G
Of the life we used to love
        C
Just to keep ourselves
    G D
At least enough to carry on

    G A C C G
And here's where your mother sleeps
    G A C C G D
And here is the room where your brothers were born
G A C C G
Indentions in the sheets
            G A C C G D
Where their bodies once moved but don't move anymore
            C G C G
And it's so sad to see the world agree
            C G D
That they'd rather see their faces filled with flies
G A C C G D G
All when I'd want to keep white roses in their eyes

(ps- instead of tabbing it out to accommodate the horn part that fills the
end, i suggest just moving in to communist daughter, which starts on G)

Oh Comely (thanks to americanpig11 again)

E C
Oh comely
                                      E
I will be with you when you lose your breath
                C E
Chasing the only meaningful memory you thought you had left
                                   C
With some pretty bright and bubbly terrible scene
                                 E
That was doing her thing on your chest
                C
But oh comely
                                    G
It isn't as pretty as you'd like to guess
In your memory you're drunk on your awe to me
   C E
It doesn't mean anything at all

           C
Oh comely
                                    E
All of your friends are letting you blow
                   C
Bristling and ugly
                                          E
Bursting with fruits falling out from the holes
                                 C
Of some pretty bright and bubbly friend
                                                E
You could need to say comforting things in your ear
                 C
But oh comely
                                                G
There isn't such one friend that you could find here
Standing next to me
He's only my enemy
     C
I'll crush him with everything I own
E
say what you want to say

Hang for your hollow ways.
C
Moving your mouth to pull out
                  E C D G D G D G D E
All your miracles aimed for meeeeee.

E
Your father made fetuses
With flesh licking ladies
      C
While you and your mother
Were asleep in the trailer park
E
Thunderous sparks from the dark of the stadiums
    C
The music and medicine you needed for comforting
   E
So make all your fat fleshy fingers to moving
    C
And pluck all your silly strings
And bend all your notes for me
E
Soft silly music is meaningful magical
    C
The movements were beautiful
All in your ovaries
E
All of them milking with green fleshy flowers
      C
While powerful pistons were sugary sweet machines
E
Smelling of semen all under the garden
    C
Was all you were needing when you still believed in me

E
say what you want to say

Hang for your hollow ways.
C
Moving your mouth to pull out
                  E C D G D G D G D E
All your miracles aimed for meeeeee.

I know they buried her body with others
    C
Her sister and mother and 500 families
    E
And will she remember me 50 years later
  C
I wished I could save her in some sort of time machine
E
Know all your enemies
   C
We know who are enemies are
E
Know all your enemies
   C
We know who are enemies are

Goldaline my dear
We will fold and freeze together
E
Far away from here
There is sun and spring and green forever
    Am
But now we move to feel
For ourselves inside some stranger's stomach
E
Place your body here
                                         Am E
Let your skin begin to blend itself with mine

Ghost (thanks to indiglopulse)

E
Ghost, ghost I know you live within me

Feel as you fly

In thunderclouds above the city

Into one that I

A
Loved with all that was left within me

Until we tore in two

E
Now wings and rings and there's so many

                 B A E
Waiting here for you

E
And she was born in a bottle rocket, 1929

With wings that ring around a socket
                     A
Right between her spine

A
All drenched in milk and holy water

                   E
Pouring from the sky

E
I know that she will live for ever

                 B
She won't ever die

B E
She goes and now she knows she'll never be afraid

B
To watch the morning paper blow

                                 E
Into a hole where no one can escape

         A E
Dee, de de de de...

Bridge:
A E A E B A E

E
And one day in New York City baby

A girl fell from the sky

From the top of a burning apartment building

                    A
Fourteen stories high

A
And when her spirit left her body

                   E
How it split the sun

E
I know that she will live for ever

All goes on and on and on and

B E
She goes and now she knows she'll never be afraid

B
To watch the morning paper blow

                                E
Into a hole where no one can escape
         A E
Dee, de de de de...

End:
E A E B E

Untitled-- this one is pretty pointless when just playing on guitar, but if
playing along with the album i think these are the exact chords to use-- also play
them as the guitar sounding part in the background not as the whiny horn like part
playing the main part-- if done right it sounds very good!

E A (alternate between these for a while)
then alternating E B (this comes in when the horn part sounds different, i
believe after the second pause)
then back to E and A before the extended E strumming right at the end

i think thats it-- sounds good to me!

Daddy please hear this song that I sing
G G F Em
In your heart there's a spark that just screams
      C C G D
For a lover to bring a child to your chest
           C C G D
That could lay as you sleep and love all you have left
          C C Am Am
Like your boy used to be, long ago wrapped in sheets
         D D
Warm and wet

How he'd love to find your tongue in his teeth
     C C G D
In a struggle to find secret songs that you keep
           C C Am Am
Wrapped in boxes so tight sounding only at night
       D D
As you sleep

As your mouth moves in mine soft and sweet
         Am D C G
Rings of flowers around your eyes and I'll love you

For the rest of your life...

And you watched as your brains fell out through your teeth

Push the pieces in place, make your smile sweet to see

Don't you take this away, I'm still wanting my face

On your cheek

C G C G
And when we break we'll wait for our miracle
C G D D
God is a place where some holy spectacle
C G C G
lies. When we break we'll wait for our miracle
C G D D
God is a place you will wait for the rest of your

Two headed boy

She will feed you tomatoes
    C G
And radio wires
    C
And retire to sheets
         D
Safe and clean
          C
But don't hate her

When she gets up to leave
