VERSE 1:
      G
I get tired,
   F#m Am
Of being pushed around.
E C#7
Trampled to the ground,
F#m F E F#m G#m
Every time somebody comes to town.

VERSE 2:
      G
I get tired,
   F#m Am
Of p'licemen on the prowl,
E C#7
Looking in my bowel.
F#m F E
Every time somebody's getting high.

CHORUS 1:(With gusto)
C#m G#m
Nowhere to go,
C#m E
There's no place to hide myself.
C#m E
Nowhere I know, but they don't know,
      F#m Am G#m
And I know it.

VERSE 3:
      G
I get tired,
   F#m Am
Of being Beatle Jeff,
E C#7
Talking to the deaf.
F#m F E
Every time some whistle's getting blown.

CHORUS 2:(With gusto)
C#m G#m
Nowhere to go,
C#m E
There's nowhere to hide myself.
C#m E
Nowhere I know, but they don't know,
      F#m Am F#m G#m
And I know it.

VERSE 4:
      G
I get tired,
   F#m Am
Of being Beatle Ted.
E C#7
Talking to the dead,
F#m F E
Every time some Bobby's getting blown.--

[End]

NOTES:
1."...Nowhere to Go" - a second Harrison-Dylan collaboration from November 1968, originally known as
"When Everybody Comes to Town"..."

2."...Having just read the 'New Morning' chapter of 'Chronicles' makes it pretty clear what Bob's
involvement with 'Nowhere To Go' was! Looks like they employed the same strategy as on
'I'd Have You Anytime', of Bob writing the chorus and George filling in the verses:
'Nowhere to go
There's no place to hide myself
Nowhere I know that they don't know
And I know it'...."
