Huge tune from one of the most under-rated bands in Britain. No doubt 'Himalayan' is going to be one hell of an album. I haven't been able to tab the slower/breakdown part so far but this is the basic riff. [OPENING} Come in with standard open A string and 7th fret D string played together. Then alternate between the open A string and the fretted D parts. Listen along with the track and you should get the feel for it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| -7-----9----5----2----2----2----2----2----0----0----0----4----2----2----2----0---| -0---0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0----0-----| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Repeat this part again but the opening 7th D String Fret and Open A played together can be played as just an Open A and slide the the D string up to the 7th fret without picking it. After playing this riff for a 2nd time, THEN THE DRUMS KICK IN. The main riff is played again twice (4 times in total before the vocals) but the second time around extends it's ending, repeating the picking between the open A string and the 4th and 2nd D string frets. I've yet to tab this but I'm pretty sure it consists of an opening A CHORD and Bm CHORD: A Bm ---5--- ---2---| ---5--- ---3---| ---6--- ---4---| ---7--- ---4---| ---7--- ---2---| ---5--- ---2---| Then the song heads back into the main riff and verse riffs that are used throughout the song.
